  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar Packed.
  • 4 large eggs At room temperature.
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder For a chocolatey flavor.
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour Sifted.
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
Cosmic Toppings
  • 1 cup chocolate chips Optional, for extra gooeyness.
  • 1 cup sprinkles For that cosmic effect.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix together the cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
Baking
  1. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan.
  2. Sprinkle chocolate chips and sprinkles on top.
  3. Bake for 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
Cooling and Serving
  1. Let the brownies cool in the pan before cutting into squares.
