  • 2 medium russet potatoes scrubbed and unpeeled
  • 1 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt

Method
 

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F.
  2. Scrub the potatoes thoroughly under running water and pat them completely dry with a clean towel.
  3. Pierce each potato several times all over with a fork.
  4. Place the potatoes on a plate, drizzle with olive oil, and rub the oil evenly over the entire surface of each potato.
  5. Sprinkle the potatoes all over with sea salt, turning to coat all sides.
  6. Place the potatoes in the air fryer basket in a single layer, leaving space around each one for air to circulate.
  7. Cook the potatoes at 400°F for 40 to 45 minutes, turning once halfway through cooking.
  8. Check doneness by piercing the thickest part of a potato with a knife; it should slide in easily with no resistance. If needed, cook 5 to 10 minutes longer.
  9. Transfer the potatoes to a cutting board, let rest 2 to 3 minutes, then slice each potato lengthwise and press the ends gently toward the center to open.
  10. Fluff the insides with a fork and serve hot with your favorite toppings.

Uwagi

- Use medium potatoes of similar size so they cook evenly and in the same amount of time.
- For softer skins, lightly cover the potatoes with foil after cooking and rest 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
